Sessions are available at my office in Boulder and are approximately 1.5 hours long, with 1 hour of hands-on time. You receive this work fully clothed, usually lying face up on the massage table. Contacts may be made anywhere from the head to the feet, with each contact lasting from several minutes to 10 minutes or more. While most of this work is extremely gentle in nature, I may use deeper pressure when appropriate.
Responses to craniosacral work vary considerably, but you will usually experience a state of deep relaxation, and feel more aligned and peaceful. At times you may have dream-like states with visual imagery, sensations of the rhythms and tides in the body, or emotional releases. Some issues may be resolved in one session, although multiple sessions allow us to work through deeper levels of an injury, or to reach a more profound understanding of what might be troubling you, and what your path forward is.
Some clients continue with regular bi-weekly or monthly sessions, finding that the gentle and non-invasive nature of craniosacral bodywork is the best way for them to stay healthy and balanced.
